well ive been playing with it and found that the humidifier wasnt on, so i put it on number 2, hopefully thats ok xxx

What CPAP machine and humidifier have you got Caren? Mine is a ResMed REMstar M Series BiPap and looks like this:

And this is the mask I use - Swift FX Nasal Pillows, they come in small, medium and large and I find them more comfortable than the full face mask, and dont leave any marks.

i quite often breath through my mouth so the full face one cover nose aswell xxx

Well I was last time I looked LMAO!!

I used to breathe through my mouth, but once I was established on CPAP, I got enough oxygen without having to open my mouth in my sleep. It was when I realised I was not doing it any more that I moved onto the nasal mask - and so far so good!

As strange as this sounds, but is it fitted correctly, so it pushing the moisture in your tube.

How you getting on with it, and can you notice yet any improvement.

hi Gary, no it dont sound stupid at all, but yes it fits perfectly, I have no marks on my face in the morning so im well pleased with that lol I played with it and found the settings and the humidifier wasnt on so i set it to 2, see how i get on with that And yes i felt better even after the first night, i havent had a nap today, or yesterday woohoo lol

I use to find that even with it on I use to wake up, but only because I was dry, as the humidifier had run out, so take a bottle of water up with you so you can top it up in the night, but make sure you boil the tap water first before you put it in, otherwise you will have limescale forming and that gets pushed into your throat/lungs etc, and its not very nice lol.

So happy its working for you though.

But I never use it now anyway, and sleep right through the night and my alarm if I can without waking up lol

I have had mine for 5 months now and get on really well, except for the last few weeks I have noticed that I have a red area round my nose all the time now, not just in the mornings...has this happened to anyone else? Any suggestions as I look out of fashion now Rudolf is no longer about...

do u have a humidifier attatched? it could be dryness x
