Hi Phoenixxe
I'm 3 weeks post wrap, also done in Prague..
At the moment it will be pretty much liquids + soup without the bits... Small amounts..
I'm on the soft stage for another week which is fine... Then normal foods in small amounts... Doing really well in my weight loss, so I'm very happy...
There is a daily menu in the Wrap section which helps me once you get to the soft stage..
Need to look up the post op menu before I go stir crazy though it hasn't really been that hard bar slight cramping.
Went with Dr H at Turnov. It's such a massive undertaking. Close to tears many times but I resolved to build on the tears already shed and try and brave this as a new positive experience and start it thus.
Just seen your post. I'm 4 weeks post op from Prague ut different surgeon. I'm just off to bed but will post you tomorrow.
Don't stress, it's all good from now on. The only way is up!!! Look at the wrappers daily menus for mushy stage.
, lots of ideas.
Hugs x
Hope u are feeling ok?. Are you still in Prague or home now?
I'm not surprised you have been tearful, it's a huge undertaking mentally but as you will see from this forum, it has been ok physically. The recovery is quick and you will be feeling pretty normal,in no time.
I'm week 4 today and only one week til I can eat normal food....woohoooo!!! I will be weighing later and there's a weekly wrappers weigh thread so you can see how we are all doing.
I went with Prague Beauty as have others on here and the lovely Reederroo is going out with them on Thursday this week. They were amazing and I have had no probs whatsoever.
Loads of lovely people on this forum who will give advise and friendship so don't feel you are on this journey alone.
I paid just under £2,000 including my flights. It would have been cheaper but I booked flights for my partner as well but bottled out of leaving the kids without mammy and daddy so I wasted a little bit of money.
