Discharge

This might not be bypass related but thought I wud ask.
I have just started getting a creamy coloured fowl smelling discharge from my belly button, it's not red or sore and I have no idea what it is and what's causing it.
Any clues anyone??

That was my guess, I've never smelt anything like it, it's disgusting.

Sounds like thrush. You need a canesten type cream you can buy over the counter. You need to clean it without soap and make sure it's kept dry. Try to wear loose clothes 'til it heals. You may get some dry skin when it goes, but it shouldn't last. It also will probably itch.

When i first got this a GP prescribed an antifungal powder which did the trick and it never recurred for years. Got it again this year and GP refused to prescribe, saying to try a cleaning and drying regime first, using cotton buds to clean it out before showering, then flushing it well in th shower and then drying it afterwards with cotton buds. I was a bit annoyed as i like to get my own way prescription wise lol, but i have to admit it did disappear with a proper cleansing and drying routine.
