Tif be a cheeky devil, if anything i'd have thought the run up to Christmas would be a good time to ask for a discount. People are spending there money on gifts for kids etc and not thinking surgeries. If you don't ask you won't get

If you're not brave enough find a friend, or other experienced haggler to help you barter!

I really have looked into the procedure its self quite alot, The only thing that baffled me was all the varying prices, The problem is, i have this money now and I would never be in this position again ( i have alot of commitments so rarely able to save)

So unfortunately the cheapest option is the only option for me - but thank you, i appreciate your advice, if i was in a better financial position I
would heed every word

I to have been researching this proceedure and their prices for ages. Up until a few weeks ago, due to the price,I was off to Belgium to as it was the cheaper option. However, after a lot of deliberation, I became concerned about the travelling home. Also by the time I added the prices the for my husband to come along with me, the hotel for him etc, it worked out around £1000 cheaper. I considered everything and have now opted for the uk. I have a consultation with The Hospital group on Friday. They told me their prices were £5.950. I enquired about discount and they informed me that when I have had my consultation, I need to wait for some promotions to come up which will be £500 cheaper. A friend of mine has just came back from having the band fitted in Belgium and travelled back fine. She travelled by eurotunnel though. Good luck with what u decide. Regards Julie x
