Do you count the op weight?

i just always count from the start weight, loss or gain i just put the end weight , stops me getting confused lol easy done for me x

You were probably still quite bloated from the gas they pump into you during surgery. I took my weight from the day before surgery which was 20stone, i weighed myself once a week(still do) and 5 months on i've lost 6 stone so i'm sure all will go really well for you, i too had Basil Ammori at Spire Manchester and he is amazing at what he does. Enjoy being a " loser" its such a good feeling xx

mines from my heaviest when i was 21.10 the day of my op i was 20 stone and 7 weeks on im 17.2 :) xx

Thank you to all of you for your kind replies. Oh your weight losses are so encouraging. I am going to hang on to the end of my second week. I am going on a mini holiday and if I weigh and I haven't lost as much as I hope, then I will spoil my holiday by sulking!

Yes Mr. Ammori is a star, I have noticed that hardly anyhone who has had him has had any complications. And he is such a charmer!

Hi Dawn, don't worry about the 5lbs, I too was shocked to see I also had gained 5lbs on my return from the hospital but this had dissapeared within days, taking some more lbs with it. I didn't know it at the time but it's very normal to gain weight during your hospital stay from all the liquids that are drip fed into you!

Have a lovely mini holiday and good luck with the weightloss,
Cuppa XX

I weighed myself before I left the hospital and had also gained five pounds but I wasnt worried about it. I am going to take my weight from my heaviest point ever and also from the morning of the op. I am not going to count the five pound
