Does my fast include water?

Hi all.
As some of you may know, my op is tomorrow, Eek!!
I have to fast from 12 tonight and Im just wondering does that fast include water does anyone know?

i was allowed to drink water up to about 4am but nothing after that and i had to be at the hospital for 7.30am... but i think its down to your surgical team... i would have nothing just in case hun xx

I was not allowed no water after 4am and even then it was only allowed to be a few sips.

Did ur provider not tell you when to have ur last drop of fluids b4 u go to the hospital? Wishing you all the best for tomorrow xx

i had to have nothing from midnight made sure i had a pint of water then so i wasn't too dry then to be honest was so worked up in the morning getting there etc i forgot to be thirsty anyway xx good luck and speedy recovery

No i was just told fast after 12 but never asked about water ooops!

im having my opp too today got to be at hopital fpr 7 they told me no food or drink after 12pm good luck today hun x

Oh wow sammyc best of luck, we can compare notes along our journeys cos we'll be in the same stages, i was only thinking last night id love to know someone getting done around the same time.

I've to be there for 1pm, it feels a lifetime away!
