I had mine done there on the15th march! Dr siggurdson or sommat spelt like that was my surgeon!

Hello! I'm having my surgery there with Mr Sigurdsson on the 31st May. Was going to be with Mr Hewin but he didn't have a free appointment that weekend and I'm happy to change as I've heard good things about Mr Sigurdsson. SSSSSOOOOO EXCITED!

Had my surgery there on 11 feb with Mr Halstead. He was really good x

I'm back to normal now but did go through the why on earth have I done this 2 days after surgery!! Only because of the trapped wind pain I was getting! Thankfully that only lasted a couple of days! I really feel great and have lost over a stone already although the loss seems to have stopped for a couple of days now but guessing that's my body trying to hold onto everything as its only getting liquids!! I really am feeling 100% again now and back to lying on my tummy!! Scars have all healed too! They were fine anyway giving me no pain at all! Just that damn wind!

Pre op was fine! Sally was very pleasant but that's what she is paid to be so I wouldn't doubt it!! Don't go in thinking u will be treated any better than NHS as u will be disappointed! Had my surgery at 10.30 on the 15th and was discharged and out at 7am on the 16th! It's a business at the end of the day and they are there to make money...that's how I feel about it anyway!! Others may see it differently! I only live ten mins away from it and they were happy for me to leave the same day! Only through choice I stayed in over night! X

See in my initial booking she told me I was having dr sirgudson but now I have dr super who apparently is good and does the WLS for nhs too. I like sally but feel like she rushed me in my consultation spoke way tooo fast and now I've paid I've not heard anything, she also said I don't have to stay in over night but I am because my little boy will be jumping all over me so want to get as much rest as possible xxx

That's the exact same reason I stayed in! But wished I'd gone home now as I was bored to tears! I had a call the day after from a nurse but that's it! Nothing since! Like I said its not patient care centred just money! But it's what I wanted so didn't bother me! When do u go? X

That's the exact same reason I stayed in! But wished I'd gone home now as I was bored to tears! I had a call the day after from a nurse but that's it! Nothing since! Like I said its not patient care centred just money! But it's what I wanted so didn't bother me! When do u go? X

Yeh to be fair there giving me what I want so what the hell, I'm in on the 11th start my pre-op diet tomorrow scary scary I've never tried to do a liquid diet ever think its going to kill me lol! Xx

And my mother's too! Yes, went up on Sunday and met them all - seem professional - surgeon a bit frosty at first.

i had my band there in sept with Mr Sigurdsson, he was really nice made me feel safe 6 months later n i lost 5 stone xx

Hi i had dr halstead on sat, he said dont worry you are in safe hands and ill look after you, i think he banded 10 that day i was 1st on list and didn't go down til 11am anyway later on that evening he paid me a visit before he left asked how i was and if i needed him hed be straight back, the nurses do come in and check you every so often but its so busy there, i found some of the nurses lovely like a motherly type and some were just doing there job. Xx
