Can we have these post op? They have 4.9g of sugar per rusk? They are fortified with vitamins, iron & minerals & wondered if they would be a good choice or not as they mush to nothing for the early stage?

These were the only thing i could tolerate for weeks, i used to have half of one with warm milk, yummy.... I had a stricture x2 weeks out and so I very often couldn't get any food down but these were my saving grace.......

i had these in my first few weeks too, they were ideal, mixed with a lot of milk, then slightly less as i mved through the stages.

LOL, I was actually googling these last night myself, wondering the same question, I remember I used to love them when I was feeding my younger brothers and sisters, many many moons ago now.

Farleys Rusks, and Liga were gorgeous soaked in warm milk...mmm, I hope we're allowed have them, I'll be asking my dietician for sure :D

Hi Guys

The only thing I was wondering about is it enough calories and carbs, On the original rusk packets It is less then 200 calories per rusk but a whopping 13.5 grams per rusk. Julie xx

i love them and had no probs with them post op. You can get reduced sugar ones in tesco
