Hi Jackie,
I have the same worry and as I'm losing so much, a lot is off my chest so I am finding that I'm more droopy, to put it nicely, lol!
I had considered having breast surgery later but I won't need to as the bra really lifts and separates. I felt a million dollars when I bought it and left the shop wearing said bra!
They can be a bit pricey but the one I got was £39 which is a lot but when you consider that she advised that it will last me a year, so on that basis its worth it.
Let me know how you get on when you go. Good luck xx
Hi Chrissy, Thank you! The shop I went to is called 'Sadie' but she's known as Sadie the bra lady. I was amazed that I went in, told her I'd lost a lot of weight and was still losing, she showed me to a cubicle and asked me to take off my top. No measuring at all.......she went out and came back with a bra and helped me into it. It was an amazing fit and on the tightest fastening, so she went down a size so that it would be more adjustable as I lose more and would last for a while. I was going to buy a few but she advised only one and to hand wash at night and hang to dry as it would be a waste of my money buying more. It's an underwire which I've never gotten on with, she advised that's because they don't fit you right if they dig in and feel uncomfortable. At first it felt a bit like I was wearing a corset but thing I've lost more now and feels sooo comfy. I felt great after the fitting and it makes new clothes look better. I whole heartedly recommend Sadie. Just wish there was a shop nearer home! Can't wait to shop for more! I'm finding I'm looking at clothes more and wanting to go shopping to try them on! Feels like a kid in a sweet shop! #enjoyingthenewme!
Hi Siana,
Can I ask you about protein shakes - what do you mean? Like slim fasts?
Oh and I forgot to say that I went to sadie the bra lady whilst up north and got an amazing fitting and now have a bra that fits and is comfortable! If nothing else my boobs look fab! Lol
I spoke with specialist nurse at the hospital, she advised that hair loss is inevitable due to the change in hormones and rapid weight loss. I also wonder for me, if it has to do with being so poorly and all the drugs I was on in hospital etc.
She advised not to buy hair products for hair loss as they wont work. She said there's nothing I can do and that it will pass.
So can't have a colour or perm tomorrow. My hair is currently permed brown/greying Bob. So can't cover my grey and it's looking so thin. Having a cut tomorrow and will see what hairdresser advises, whether to go for short style or shorter Bob!
Does it leave a shine Siana?I have discovered a tresemme hairspray that makes mine look a lot thicker and doesn't make it do that awful floppy thing as the day goes on. It's allied Runway Collection, Max the Volume
Oh Siana that is very exciting. I had the Chop Before my op after years of a bob and I love it.Well I have only gone and done it now, went to hairdressers this morning, she's an old mate and told me bluntly that my hair was so thin on one side that in her opinion it all needed to come off. So I now have a crop, and its a bit of a shock - not least because I now discover that I have cheekbones and a face that looks remarkably thinner than before... ...
Well done on the running sounds like your doing ok great stuff. Keep up the good work.
Hey all.... Long time since I posted. Just had a little vacation.. Ran 16 km in two days in the Himalayas. Loved the clean air and the mountains.. Lost 3 kgs in about 15 days.. Trying to post some pics... Hope I am successful. One of the pics is of Jan 15 and the other recent one is of May.. ( the T-shirt is the same though ) Pain is... Weakness leaving the body... Cheers and Regards... Kaps
