Hi Lynne,
You sound determined!
What is your total weight loss now?
How much more do you want to lose or what dress size?
What is on your list of things to do that your weight previously stopped you doing?
Mine is 7st 9lbs total, 5st 7lbs since feb.
Want to get to 10 stone and dress size 12-14.
I'm already doing them! Getting fitter and healthier and have just given up my disabled badge for the car. I want to do a charity sky dive next year and have recently done a light the night walk raising £273.
Saving up to buy a narrow boat and am getting married on Christmas Eve!
I asked the dietician at my appointment this week what my goal weight should be and I was really surprised at her response. She said that they don't believe in trying to get to a goal weight, that it's more about seeing where your weight loss surgery takes you; what dress size you are in, where you feel comfortable in your own skin, your improved health and fitness benefits.
I am still losing but slower than earlier this year, but still have a large tummy, it is where I carried most of my weight before, so if I could just reduce that by even half of what it is now, I'd be happy at what ever weight and dress size I ended up in.
It's hard to keep motivated when life throws us curve balls. I do hope that you are looking after yourself in every way and finding comfort and support from those around you.
Losses are always so hard to come to terms with and recover from. Nothing will nor can ever replace your loved ones. Keep remembering and keep talking about them will help you manage, you may not think so at that time, but in the longer term, you will see this. I used to with my dad after my mum died, he would be so sad at losing her, understandably. And I used to be sad with him and we'd exchange stories, we'd both be crying and then laughing by the end of our conversations.
Big hugs love xxx
