I've been doing kettles although the pt I follow says not to use anything below a 12 kg.Just popping in to share my latest NSV. Today I bought two 2.5kg kettlebells. I had to walk back across town to the car. By the time I got there my shoulders were on fire, my knees sore and I was generally ready to put them down. Combined weight of 5kg ... What I have lost is something like TWELVE times that weight! And that is what I was hauling about 24/7 for all my adult life until I was 50! Sobering. Hope you are all well, you gorgeous bunch of losers. xxxx
Thanks guys. Yep, women should start at 12kg in a conventional swing workout. That is quite a hefty weight isn't it Yve (btw, I love it that you have come on here with that 'news' you have got a PT!). My weight loss is five of those! Not really imaginable lifting that! But hey, I was carrying that about - oh my poor hips, knees and ankles. I am using these small kettles as hand weights really in other workout styles. xxx
