Has anyone managed to get finance for the gastric bypass with a poor credit rating. My partner has a good one and he is willing to help but we still seem to be getting declined on soft searches I am so desperate for the operation but struggling to get the pennies

Hi Heather,
Is there no way you can go via NHS? Private is so expensive! I know the NHS is a longer wait but at least you do not have to pay for it?
I understand the impatience of it all though. If we could have paid cash for mine I would have, but it is a lot of money for the sake of 18 months on the NHS - I am sure if you got finance it would take you longer than 18 months to pay it off?

If you still want to go private, perhaps think about a loan from the bank, or your partner can get a loan which you pay off - something along those lines perhaps?
