Been to Spire today to see Mr Ammori and finally met the lovely Louisa. I am right on target and he asked me my goal, when I said 11 stone but if I get to 12 and think I look ok I will stay there, he said there should be no problem with me getting to 11. He showed me how high up the pouch is and its practically at the back of my throat when I open my mouth lol....the severe pain I am feeling in my left side from time to time is something to do with my muscle at the base of my ribs nothing to do with surgery. I was concerned as sometimes I only need a spoonful of soup and it kicks off but so relieved its not my pouch. He is a lovely lovely down to earth man who laughs out loud with you. He listerned whilst I chattered about how good I felt and listed all the health improvements already as its only just been over 5 weeks. I see him again in March....I feel happy and reassured now I know I am doing things right...xx

thats great news that every thing is going ok for you, you have achieved such alot in 5 weeks, well done you ! i hope the pain in your muscle calms down soon for you.

Glad its going well Linda - your right Mr Ammori is a spot on surgeon and a first class human being, when i met him we laughed so much i almost fogot he was a Dr, and that was before the op
