first fill soon cant wait.

hi everyone

im having my first fill on the 7th april i cant wait i have no restriction and im eating like a horse..has anyone got any advise to the pain of a fill??????

Hi

It's literally just like a sharp sting - like having an injection. Not at all painful. Mine is performed by my surgeon without x-ray. I just lie down, he locates the port and injects the saline. I then have to drink a glass of water and eat a yoghurt just to check it goes down ok. I too had little if any restriction before my 1st fill so it is an exciting step.

It's really quick and easy, and as the needle goes into the port and not muscle its less painful than most injections.
