Hi egreen
Hiya
are you going to the Edgbaston Clinic also? what time is your appointment? I have mine at 3:00, I live in Northamptonshire, so I will have to leave work about 1pm to drive to Edgbaston. I am low also as I have gained a bit of weight, about a kilo so far, but it is quite de-motivating to put on even the smallest amount. Everyone says this can happen, but it doesn;t make it any easier to accept, and personally I feel even more of a failure because I have had the surgery and feel as tho I should be able to manage the weight loss. I guess I am still learning to live with my band, I only had it fitted two months ago, and probably being a bit hard on myself. It is still early days yet, but I think we banders have tried everything going to lose weight, and have had the yo-yo effect before, and hard as you try to not let this get to us, it does. I suppose we are all a bit edgy, thinking will we really lose this weight this time. Its mentally hard and quite straining. I lost 13kg really easily and now struggling to maintain. I exercise about 5 times a week, and yesterday went for an 8 mile walk with my husband around Sutton Park, but I still feel so heavy and unfit. Have to remind myself it is still early days I suppose, but its hard sometimes. I really hope this second fill next week will do the trick and lift my spirits a bit more. Take care, make sure you post when you have had your band fill and let us know how it went.
