My hubby is american too, but wasnt sure how they would handle the band issue. I think as long as I have my card with me, and can show them that they should be ok. I just feel like I am going to be having a bit of a difficult time this time because I have to have a different attitude and approach to food, and not sure how I will get on.
The american people in the service industry, are much more politer on the whole than what you find in this country, and I know they tend to go that extra mile, so think I will be ok to ask for smaller, or child portions. I suppose I just feel in a way, that I am going to stick out like a sore thumb, probably no one will notice, I am just paranoid about it.
