For all women who are post op (any op)

dell, what do you mean by abdominal surgery, i had mine done through my abdomen, it goes across from one side to the other, just above my pubic hair. mine werent massive, but there were a few of them and it was where they were apparantly that caused most of the problems, i had constant bleeding although most of it was really big clots, and the pain it caused was unbelievable, also i have a bad back, and my uterus was tilted towards my back, so the pressure of it made my back pain worse. like i say, apart from the wls it was the best decision ive ever made. good luck huni, i hope all goes well. big hugs xxx

They mostly do vaginal hysterectomy appatrently...I'd have It like you dis but already had two CS so lots of scar tissue there and I want to wait and see how much skin I want removing too!! Thanks for the kind wishes xxx

Previous to the op, I wasn't regular at all and no rhyme or reason to when my period would start. Now, it is every 27-28 days and is heavy but only lasts 3-4 days.

dell, they would more than likely go through the same incisions that youve got now, so you wouldnt end up with any more scarring than youve already got, they might just need to make it slightly longer, but thats all. yeah they told me that a lot were done vaginally, but for some reason they couldnt do it that way, i didnt care, i just wanted it done. i hope you get yourself sorted out soon and take care, hugs xxx
