Brilliant Em and every good wish as always... hope it's plain sailing from now on honey... love and hugs xxx

Hi Emma

So thats almost a month not being able to eat without being sick - that doesnt sound good at all. And the fact there was blood in what you brought up really should be checked out. Dont get me wrong Im pleased your no longer being sick but being sick like that is not normal. Promise me you will get yourself checked out if that happens again x

Emm, please get this looked at, it's not good at all.

Vomitting with a band should be avoided as much as possible, the blood is from the oesphagus and can be a sign of damage.

Also band can slip if heavy or prolonged vomitting has occured.

You really need to look after yourself so much more Emm, be kinder to yourself, it sounded to me like you needed a de-fill ages ago.

You really need to see your provider and get this sorted, being too tight won't allow you to loose weight and you will also get malnourished.

Call them tomorrow and get an appointment...hugs to you xx

Emma i dont mean to be harsh but your band is definatley way too tight chick, if you keep on going like this you will lose your band or erode/burn your pouch with acid as blisters can form, the blood is a sign of this happening, im not teiling you what to do but just giving advice, you cannot rely on a over tight band to lose weight it does not work long term and just causes misery and pain....good luck hun xxx

Thankyou everyone, i *think* its was because i was possibly eating food too much at a time, today i was litterally having half a 5 pence bites, and that was fine, so maybe it was my error. I know i shouldnt have allowed this to go on for so long and i should have sought advice from you lovely lot or the docs. But i honestly think it was my error and admitting i had a problem is always hard.

When i was being sick i often had a sharp pain in my stomach to the right hand side just under the rib,

I will ofcourse continue to eat very teeny tiny amounts, BUT if it happens again i will go back to the team.

xxx

Ive hit a milestone!!!!!

If I had this problem I wouldnt have waited this long to get things settled down, would not have called this a mile stone at all, with blood in my vomit I would have defo been very worried.....go and see someone plz xxxx - MeJulie xx

I assumed weather wrong or rightly that the blood was from vomitting and the strain, it wasnt huge bits of blood, More streaky.

xx

The blood could have come from ulcers caused by hard food irritation if the band was tight.

are ulcers bad hun? x

Feeling a real bleb with myself now :(

ulsers or blisters ect are bad, a friend of mine has had to have his band unclipped because of similar reasons, tight bands are not good and the blood is there as a warning sign, becarefull as a slippage may be on the cards if you carry on as you are x

Other ulcer symptoms may include:

heartburn
a bitter taste in your mouth
feeling sick or vomiting
regurgitating food

It's important to see your GP if you have:

difficulty swallowing food
lost weight without dieting
seen blood in your vomit or bowel movements
sudden, very painful abdominal pain

These symptoms may be caused by problems other than a ulcer. If you have any of them, visit your GP for advice.

This is a list of possible symptons, so overall i would go to GP to make sure all is ok...

Also contact team too .....

TOMORROW EMM, don't delay HUG xx

I am so glad that you have had a better day and managed to eat your food properly. Look after yourself and keep taking those small bites
Lots of love
JO xx
