for the 1st time in a mth.......

Hi Emma

So thats almost a month not being able to eat without being sick - that doesnt sound good at all. And the fact there was blood in what you brought up really should be checked out. Dont get me wrong Im pleased your no longer being sick but being sick like that is not normal. Promise me you will get yourself checked out if that happens again x

Great news EMM28, but , mazza is right. Please be careful X

are ulcers bad hun? x

Feeling a real bleb with myself now :(

you aren't a pleb, you just want to be at your sweetspot and get on with the job. understandable.

be sure not to get your vomiting confused i.e. when I first had a proper restrictive fill I was vomiting nearly every day. however it wasn't because the band was tight it was because i was eating incorrectly. be sure to be honest with yourself and establish whether your constant vomiting is a result of;
a) bad food choices (i.e. things you can no longer tolerate - in my case eggs)
b) incorrect application of new eating method and/or regime; or
c) over restriction

your blood may be because of the continued vomiting and not because of over restriction. everyone here is right seek medical advice asap.

let me let you in on something i haven't told a soul ever. about 4 weeks ago i went out to dinner with my friend at the time i was vomitting a bit too. it was very late on a saturday night and during dinner i had to rush to the loo to vomit no less(!) and i saw what i thought was blood. I text mr khan (my surgeon) and he told me to go to A&E. So there i was in birmingham city centre fretting. i went to my local hospital a&e because mr khan is known there. after having sat in a&e for ages (was a saturday night) i finally saw the nurse and then the doctor who examined me verbally and physically. in the end i was told that i was fine and to go home and relax, drink gaviscon, and stay on soups for a few days.

this is the first time i'm mentioning it on here and it's because i want to reassure you a little and demonstrate all is not lost ... and your current discomfort my well be trivial (although it could be a sign of slippage etc. too).

best of luck.

Thankyou again everyone, I really do think it was self error so i put my hands up, I was obviously eating too much at a time, despite me thinking it was small enough and what i thought had chewed enough, i have learnt the hard way,
I actually enjoyed my dinner yesterday and i also had 3 low fat crackers last night which also stayed down, yet again eating nibbles at a time.

Now that i think i have found the reason for the problems i had the last mth i can and now have rectified it, All i can do is continue with the teeny bits and hope for the best. I will now be able to have 3 meals a day rather then just the one without the actions what come after wards.

I can openley admit i have formed a horrible relationship with food, I dont like to eat because i knew what would happen. Now this is a new step for me, As much as it dont sound like a milestone or a big step to others It really is to me.

I thankyou all for all your comments & advice, your replies have all been taken on board, Hugs to all xx
