Gail's weekly weigh in- 21lbs left to target!

Love the scales or hate 'em, I don't think we can live without them!
I just wanted to say it was really helpful to see the list of how much weight you've lost each week over the last 20 wks, because I know some of us have the tendency to feel a bit disappointed if we don't lose 7lb a week (kidding, but you know what I mean), but it is really good to see how those 2 - 3lbs on average mount up to 56 lbs over such a short space of time...amazing!
 
Thanks Angie. I know what you mean the weight loss really creeps up on you.

After the pre-op & initial two weeks I thought, wow this is so great, lost 25lbs, I'm gonna rock this op!

Then to have a normal loss the next week and the week after and the week after. I'd originally said things like, I've lost more than this doing the Cambridge and I've had my guts rearranged for this! But it finally sunk in one day that all those little increments add up to whopping great losses, plus everything but my bloody bingo wings are strinking with it! Note to self, must lift more weights lol.

My dietician has said that they would be happy if I only lost 1lb a week and as long as it's still coming off I'm happy with anything.
 
Thanks M. Been working really hard, painted & wallpapered 2 rooms so far, painted the hall & started on the kitchen. Feel like I've gone 10 rounds with Mike Tyson at the mo! I'm having a day off today :D

i dont have scales and refuse to buy any as i know i would weigh daily, instead i go to boots on a friday morning and weigh x
