I was first in at 9 am. Out again for 12 noon. Am still in hospital, in a lot of pain, burping a lot, having trouble drinking because it hurts and have not eaten today. But I have been to the toilet and been for five little walks, twice yesterday and three days today.

oh meant to say, I lost a stone between my initial consultation at spires fylde coast and last thursday. I was only on the pre op 8 days as well, and had been pretty bad before hand.

Welcome to the losers bench. You're doing the right thing mobilising. Have you got any deflatine or rennies? I found that they helped a lot as did ginger and lemon tea.

I'm home and I'm freezing. Spent the night with two duvets and a blanket and was still cold. Had the strangest dreams too, some very disjointed, one of a lad nicking a taxi with two passengers in it, and driving it off a high bridge and one of fighting someone to be able to eat all the cookies!

What meds were you all sent home with?
I've got calpol, couldn't cope with those dissolvable tablets, they are disgusting and because they are effervesant, give you loads of gas.

I have also got Lansoprazole (Zolan fastab) for Gas.

Diclofenac sodium (Voltarol) to prevent muscle spasms.

And injections to stop me getting dvt. Hoping my daughter will do those for me.

Also wondering what the average is before people aren't in so much pain?
