Green Tea

I am trying to convert to Green Tea. I have noticed since I have been drinking it 1 maybe 2 cups per day that I have a real raging thirst. I cannot find it in the list of side effects has anyone else experienced this?

I cant really take to the green tea, I have the green coffee all the time nearly but I dont find I have a raging thirst :D XX

I only have green tea, no milk and green coffee with a dash of milk.

I've been very thirsty since my op... but wonder if it's the aftermath of diabetes in my case.

I can't help you really Carol, but I do find the green tea to be helpful... in terms of helping keep my blood sugars low pre op.

An interesting question Carol...

Change back to ordinary tea for a couple of days and see how you go. Please let us know.

Love and hugs xxx

Bev your thirst is down to the op I read it yesterday in Dummies.will look for it for you.Maz x

I've had a terrible dry mouth from after the op. At first everything tasted salty. xxx

I'm drinking loads thanks Maz... the recommended 2 pints of water and my drinks alongside.

It's easier than it was but I thought it was a diabetic problem... since I was like this pre op with the diabetes. xxx

Could be a green tea problem LOL

It's difficult to be sure Carol. I started with a very dry mouth after my operation a few days ago... and previous to that I had an unquenchable thirst due to diabetes.

I'm waiting to give it more time... I've lost the taste for ordinary tea and coffee...

I don't have too much of it though, since I'm drinking loads of water...

Be good to hear if anyone else has had this...

Thanks Carol xxx

So today, no green tea, no thirst. I will have one later and report back
