Hair loss for banders?

Hi folks.......
It's bothering me that all these bypass peeps are losing their hair.
As a potential bander is this a joy I can prepare my jolly ole self for?
I was reading through the brochure I was given by the hosp and there was no mention of it.
My hair is so fine already I would hate to lose any but at least can prepare for it if it is likely.

yes, i use Pantogar (i posted something about it yesterday). makes my hair thicker (have fine hair)

hi rachel im a bander had have not experienced no hair loss personally if you loose the weight slowly and sensably then you should be ok!! good luck with your band!! xx

I have loads of fine curly hair and yes I did lose lots of it. It settled down after about six months and because I have so much it wasnt noticeable really.

Im a bander and my hair drops out each time i wash it, you cant notice it but it gets everywhere when it falls out :sigh:

I shed a bit too and I am a bander, but I did before the op too. We loose a lot of hair each day naturally, so try not to worry.
