Sorry can't help as don't think anything can stop it as it's just part of the journey, but it will eventually stop. Just to let you know your not alone my hair has started to come out over the last few weeks, I'm getting sick of hoovering cause when I brush or straighten my hair it's coming out in clumps too. All's you can see is dark brown hair on my light carpet lol I have to Hoover upstairs nearly everyday. Fingers crossed it will stop for us soon x
Just ride it out,it slows down and stops after a few months, then picks up again. All natural progression.it just depends at which stage of growth the individual hairs are at.
Extra zinc in the diet helps ease the losses but it's part & parcel of the diet & the bodies reaction to it similar to when we women lose hair after giving birth. It looks dramatic but it's not that bad & your hairs still growing to replace what's being lost post surgery.
Thank you ladies for all your advise. I am going to the gp's this week so they can do a blood test to check all my levels. Hopefully this will be ok.
To top off my hair loss, I put a pound ON! This is the first week I have put on since post op, but I will not let it get me down. Back to the gym tomorrow lol
