Well following my big mistake this week, well big mistake for me, putting on 2.5 lb lol, I have done some soul searching and going to make some changes.

I am out for a meal tonight with all the family for my other half's 40th, and have already decided I am going to have salmon fish cakes, well probably end up only eating part of one lol

Any also going to up my exercise now, and start walking around the village every night to burn off some extra cals, I will get that extra weight off if it kills me hehe.

Hope you all have a great night and weekend.

Good luck PG , I don't think it matters how far along we are in our journey , it does us good to step back & look at it to check its working for us . In your case it was slightly forced on you , but you recognised it needed to be done , so in my book , that's a good thing

Nice one PG... I think it's not the setback of putting a couple of pounds on,The beauty is knocking it on the head and getting a plan together to get back on the straight and narrow... Good luck mate.:D

As they say... treat any weight gain like a jelly - get it off before it sets!

Well done - you can be the designated driver and be everyone's friend!
Have you come up with any strategies for keeping your food warm while you get through it whilst out in public?

well done. Its def a big wake up call when we put weight on post op. I was the same over the summer- totally stressed after separating from husband. I lived on rubbish and didnt go to the gym. Needless to say I put some weight on. It was definitely the wake up call I needed. It also taught me not to be embarassed about the fact I had the op as its not the magic cure. We still need to work hard at eating the right food and exercising.
Since I realised that I have gotten back to the gym and watch what I eat ..not suprisingly my weight has started to come down again.
