He's alright, I only met him once for 1st consultation and then once after my op when I was in recovery because I had to go back to theatre. Never seen him since but Liz the specialist nurse is brilliant. Good luck with your op and I do belive you're in safe hands.
Bet thats it then for me seeing mr ackroyd!
did you have yours done in thornbury or the hallamshire? ive not been to either just wondered what they were like?
I'm just 1 week post op after having band fitted at Preston with WLS Group. From initial consultation, throughout op to present my experience with this company has been excellent and well worthy of recommendation to anyone considering making such a life changing decision. The staff at the hospital were brilliant and very, very supportive with nothing too much trouble. I have no regrets whatsoever and wish you the best of luck as once you've been given your op date you'll finally be on your way to making those positive changes to your life.

I had mine done at the Hallamshire due to some other illness issues but Di (Blondemoment) had her sleeve at the Thornbury. Apparently the Thornbury is really nice.
Hello Delly and welcome. I've only been here a week or so and already it feels like home. All your questions you could possibly have can be found on here, from pooh to food. Have a browse before you ask the silly questions, or wait long enough and i'll have probably asked them for you...
Good luck with your wls and i hope its not too long before you become a big loser too!!!
