I am nearly 7 weeks post op, had bypass...was more excited than nervous for a long time then just before op started doubting and wondered if I was doing the right thing...but I sailed through the op and have had absolutely no problems (apart from a impacted bowel that lasted nearly a week) I have already lost 2stone and 2 lb since op and 2 st 7 lb before and can honestly say its the best thing I ever did

Hi Rosey
Welcome, welcome, welcome to the forum - this is a really supportive and helpful place.
Good luck with you op. You will be absolutely fine, and the 'jitters' are perfectly normal. Before you know it you will be waking up in the recovery room

Welcome to the forum you will get as much as you need from the fantastic people on here. Ask any questions and I'm sure someone will know the answers you need to hear.

I'm scheduled for a bypass on 7th Sept and can honestly say that even though I'm certain that this is the right thing for me I'm very scared at the moment.

Good luck with your journey:)
