Congratulations for trying again and being so close to your surgery date. I had my surgery on the NHS after 2 years and 3 months of waiting and just 5 weeks out I'm already feeling more hopeful and confident. My GP offered t refer me when i was around 25 and i was always too scared to accept and was convinced i could lose the weight alone. It took me until i was 30 to decide that i couldn't and that i was going to give it a try. So don't beat yourself up for backing out the first time. It's always better to take your time and do it when you feel ready Good luck with your surgery. Keep us updated on how it goes! Xx
