Hi all, I'm new to this amazing site...... You are all so inspirational!! I've got my pre-op on 14 th dec and am
Wondering how long everyone waited for their op ..... I'm just wondering if it will be before Xmas??????

Hi and welcome to to the forum. Where abouts are you having your op. Different hospitals do different things, I think I waited a couple of weeks before my op after my pre-op but I'd had my date by then so I knew.

Hi Kate, thanks for the welcome. I'm having my op at aintree hospital Merseyside. They've just started doing them as they won the contract from spire murryfields so I've been messed about quite a bit waiting for it all to be sorted .... As usual for my luck.... I was caught other in the middle of it all lol so can't believe it's all finally happening x

Every hospital is different but there would be no point in them doing the pre opp too far in advance as things might change if they wait too long.

I know in my case the Pre opp was also the start of the milk diet and surgery was 2 weeks later.

Thanks guys, I can't tell u all how much this site has helped me and given me an insight of what I'm getting into...... So looks like I'm gonna be on my ore-op diet all over Xmas haha oh well..... Small price to pay isnt it !!!
