Help!!!!

Hi we haven't talked before, what exercises do you do in the water. I've just started swimming but while I'm in the pool I do marching on the spot, leg stretches walking, squats and swimming. Is there anything you do different to that are you in a class or on your own. :)

Hi Mouse, I just do lane swimming. My weightloss has been very quick, so I don't think any amount of exercise would stop my skin from becoming saggy! X

I am fine thanks Ceecie. Thanks for asking. I have been doing Aquafit for two years now (started in Jan 13 when I was size 24, twice a week). Now do Aquacombat. I have been doing Zumba once a week for 18 months (started about six weeks after my bypass when I was still size 20ish), and now do Intense PT Circuit training too once or twice a week, to build stamina, upper-body strength and generally tone/contour my body. It is certainly all very worth while ... hard work but worth while for sure. I have exercised all my life, even at my biggest. I cannot comprehend how I managed it carrying the equivalent of the current me around all the time - how did I not keel over?!

Keep up the swimming ladies as it really is the best exercise while your body adjusts itself xxxx

Has anyone suffered with bad bruising post op?

I currently have 2 huge black bruises, one on each leg, that I have no idea of the cause !!!

I have loads of bruise mainly on my legs but a few on my arms,I also have developed lots of freckles mainly on my tummy area they are like liver spots but not so dark

I've always bruised easily, but I've always been anaemic but I can't take iron tablets.

Yep and not just legs either .. I left our house yesterday and by the time I got down my stairs I realised my hand was painful and the vein in my palm was swollen. Ten mins later it was black n blue and I could barely grip the steering wheel. Now I wouldn't have minded if I had been carrying something or gripped something too tightly etc but I had done absolutly nothing? Today there is just a shading of a bruise ..so odd as they usually hang around for a month or two. I developed a bruise on my index toe in similar circumstances at the weekend ...I truly do not recall doing any thing but it felt like I had broke it!

Ahh thanks Vickster !!

I've been doing some research on T'internet, as you do......apparently it's lack of protein OR Kidney Failure.......nothing to worry about then!! :)

Lawks hun. You take care ... I have varicose, always have. And now with the weightloss they are even more hideous ... Oh boy. Time to get them sorted too I think ... Hugs a million x

Gosh we need a lot of work ay Lilac!! How naive we were when we thought all out problems would fall away as the weight fell off!!

Size 16/18 top, size 22 skinny jeans :) 15 stone down whoop whoop! :)
