Here I go... or as I like to call it, 'I'm officially turning into a Snack A Jack'

actually, a 20g serving of philly light (garlic and herbs) has only 1g of protein, but 3g of fat!

Note to self, stay off food focus :D

Hehehe...

Well, I have the Extra Light Phili and it's yum :)

Ali... I love the Asda cheese crackers and they really do mush in the mouth, so perhaps give them a try before Ryvita... as Shel said, better to try the squidgy stuff first ;)

Anyhow, to answer your question, the Ryvita went down a treat... :)

I have also bought some Dairylea Dunkers, as someone suggested them to me... had one for my snack, and they are YUM!!!

However, I am a bit wary due to the fact they are not the low fat ones... do they even do them as low fat? Anyhow, the sugars and fat are not amazingly high and I haven't dumped so I'm happy for now!!!

Haven't really had much to eat (no brekkie, just a glass of Libby's Orange C) so thought I deserved a treat!!!

*Ols waits for the telling off...* ;) :D

x

Well you won't have to wait long!!! Have you not been told ever that brekkie is the most important meal of the day????? lol x

tut tut tut Ols got to have brekkie! Even if its just a yoghurt or an actimel or something.

Now go write 100 lines saying 'Only silly girls skip breakfast and I am not silly'

Ohh Shell, you should be a teacher !!

Hiya

I'm a little concerned and just wanted to ask a bit of advice.

I had a 300g portion of Quorn Shep' Pie this evening around 8:30 pm and felt so stuffed, I had to be sick - only about two tsp (if that) came up and the feeling of being very full went away after 45 mins or so.

By 10pm, I was able to drink a cup of juice and had a SF lolly.

I am not going to eat that much again, but I am just worried about damaging my pouch... surely I would have to do this a few times before it stretched, right?

I'm just paranoid that I have undone all the good work Mr Somers did... :booboo:

x

I still do that all the time have a bit too much and either get the dreaded burping or run to the toilet fast!! I really dont think that you would have streched you pouch because you did throw up so it must still be small and cant handle big amounts........I think that made sense, will have to lay off the gin before I post again!

Thanks for that... I can't sleep, I am so worried that I have stuffed it all up and ruined my last chance of losing any more significant weight :(

Just having one of those off moments...

Thanks again *hugs*

x

Ollie you know that it takes more than one episode to stretch your pouch! You have to push the limits consistently to cause any problems.

Now calm down and stop being a big nelly x

Right, this is what I have munched so far today...

Brekkie - half a weetabix with ss milk

Snack - Dairylea Dunker

Lunch - mashed pot/swede/carrot with mushy peas and gravy

Snack - Skinny Cow mint lolly (yum!!!)

Thinking of some soup for my evening meal at 8pm... not feeling hungry so may just have some water crackers with h'mous!!!

x

see, and how exactly is that little bit of food going to stretch anything?

You're doing great, you're eating well and you'll be fine.

Just spoke to the Dietician... she said I should be aiming for around 500 cals a day. She also said that we do absorb the cals, it's more the iron and nutrients that we don't absorb... cripes, how wrong I have been

I've been having about 500-700 cals a day, thinking 'we aren't absorbing all the cals and nutrients so it's important to eat right and get a decent amount' :(

Bugger... definitely not going near the scales until my check up :sigh:

Ol even 700-800 cals a day is still considered a VLCD and would still deliver a phenomenal weight loss.

STOP WORRYING!

Now then....what was it......from one natural worrier to another?????

Stop panicking, all will be fine and the scales will speak for themselves!

Just been to the Docs ref' M'vits, and gave in to the scales... her scales only go up to 150kgs, and when I got on them they span right past that... looked like 155kgs :(

Gutted... I went into theatre 154.9kgs and came out heavier!!!

I know that I can't possibly gain, considering what I have NOT eaten (compared to what I used to eat), but I am so p***ed off :badmood:

*breathe*

Am thinking to go down to Boots and weigh in there... after all, it's their scales that I usually do my weigh-in's with.

Sorry for spouting off... just so fed up

x

Right, am back from Boots :)

Before I started my pre-op diet, I weighed 162.2kgs...

I am now 151.5kgs :D

So, I lost 16lbs on the pre-op and just over half a stone since my weigh-in just before my op, making a weightloss of just over 24lbs!!! :)

Feel a bit better now...
