Hi Mecca, I'm feeling fantastic thanks. I asked for key hole on the day ( Dr Yusuf told me to be cheekily and give it a go) and as he was doing a band after me I said perhaps he could do me keyhole as he was getting all the kit out. He just said it says open here. Anyway, I'm sure the scar will fade and it's a just a tiny price to pay for such a fantastic opportunity.

Sandwell PCT will only fund open surgery at Walsall Manor But if you go to Heartlands they will fund keyhole

Bigun I spoke to Dr Labib on Tuesday and asked him what had happened to you
He said that the PCT had asked about patients that were refered for surgery upto 2 years ago and they discovered that Walsall had "lost" 17 patients.

The PCT have said that as people weren't getting their surgerys they would have to think about pulling funding for Weight Loss Surgery in the future.
