Hi, I'm Kirsty, banded August 2014. My post op dairy

Whew I'm wide awake for the first time in hours lol

I feel fine

I am in a level 1 observation room hooked up to every device imaginable and being cared for like royalty. I feel very safe and in good hands

I am under observation as a precaution as I still have some narcrotic tissue hanging about. They expect what is left to re generate but if any of it starts to deteriorate further it will change my stats quickly. Because of the constant monitoring they will pick up these changes as they occur and get me back down to theatre immediately

This team of staff are amazing.

I hope this is over soon now

Good night girls xxx

Thinking of you Kirsty!

Glad you feel you are in safe hands and it sounds like they're on top of things!

Sending you lots of get well wishes xxxx

Good to hear from you, so glad you are being cared for so well. Get plenty of rest, fingers crossed you have turned the corner and are now on the road to recovery

Lynn x

Hi Kirsty

So glad you are getting looked after well, get well soon.

Take care, huge hugs and get plenty of rest xxxx

Oh girls I am reading through my diary and some of my posts are bizarre like my comments on the photo of Karina and I. What I found hilarious was her GRETNAGATE update lol

But I have now worked out a big connection ..... Left Karina late morning in A&E a few hours later!!! Hmmmm - I should never have joined her in that hot chocolate or laughed so hard at her sense of humour ?? IT was the combination of the two.....it was just too much for me. Sharon had a lucky escape ;-)

Anyway what I didn't stress was that Karina looks stunning. She is petite but suits her slight build. She is a picture of health. So there's some advice for us all - MORE CHUNKY KIT-KATS

Glad your getting the Royal treatment, and even better to hear your feeling a bit better. Your in the right place and getting the right car and that's all that matters. Each day at a time small baby steps.

I turn my back for 2 bloody minutes and you have to pis@ on my chips! ;) health problems Alfie!? .... I can beat that ha ha ha I know I'll get myself admitted and have miles more surgery than Alfie does ;)

(When you text me u was at work in shock)

Well missy I'm booked to have more surgery so game on! Mole removal 11th November :0))))

Seriously my brave and beautiful Glaswegian rose, take care of you, build your strength and get home safely.

Your a cornerstone to this forum and your part of our journey forever X

You lost all that weight with no band in many ways so take heed, your capable of healthy weight with good support and you do have will power so it seems as well X

Oh no Alfie. Mole removal? Hope your results come back fine xxxxx

Yip I will get some more weight off for sure otherwise I would have to say my band was a negative experience which it was not - my band was only part of my weight loss journey. One I am determined will continue

But challenge on you get to under 11 by Xmas. I get to under 12

Good luck for your surgery. I will txt you babe xxxx

Oh no it's not a risky mole X it's due to my hair thinning it's far more noticeable and I asked if I could have it removed, agreed without a second thought.... I've hidden it for 20 plus years do off it comes x

Whew! Just vanity then ;-) xx

Thanks for the ongoing support babe. I'm not going anywhere and will be hand in hand with you all xx

Whew! Just vanity then ;-) xx
xx

Phew, that big one on your nose is going Alfie!!!:rotflmao:

Can I join in? I had a seborrheic keratosis removed from my cheek last year. It was a big fat ugly thing. Didn't make much difference on the attractiveness front though. Lol

Yeah but I said leave it for Halloween as I can scare every kid in town with it and all the hairs sticking out of it lol

Purely for vanity I'm afraid. Mind you given how much health interventions I've had in starting to think health professionals are going to start suspecting I'm some weird Munchausens freak ;)

Your stuck with us now X

Alfie, you go for it girl you get everything you can done as and when you need it lol you do make me laugh. It's so nice to have such lovely people positive people on here. We need more like you. Are you thinking of having any plastics done or have you been down that route.

Mouse, Alfie and I are going for a BOGOF on plastics. Yet to decide on who gets what, but we're thinking I'll get some of Alfie's bottom to help my non existent boobs, and I'm donating excess from my bottom to help Alfie grow a few inches in height! Lol

Girls. I'm in a high dependency ward tonight fighting to save my stomach that's the bald truth, the bottom line

I'm still awake at 2am /upset over repercussions of posts to my Diary. I'm not going to say anything else about that except from the point of being aware of some conflict my blood pressure has taken a real spike and I'm in tears here

Please girls accept that we are all different and that makes us all behave and react in different ways

We can all disagree about absolutely everything but still be kind to each other and non judgemental of each other

Now I have that off my chest I can hopefully get some sleep and get my BP down before my next observation

No comments on this desired. Just be kind on here. It's the one place where we all share a common bond regardless of personas or egos xxx
