Thought I had better introduce myself, I joined a week or so ago and have been lurking but not posting!

I'm married with 3 children 15, 5,and 2 yrs old. I weigh at the moment 22st and have funding in place for weight loss surgery and have my 1st hospital appointment on Friday.

thank you all!

To answer some of your q's...My Hospital is Luton & Dunstable, and I'm hopefuly having an RNY.
The appt on Friday is with the obesity medical team to see bariatric nurse, I have to fast from 10pm the preiuos night so I presume I will be havng fasting blood sugar test etc that day. Then I have another appt on 13th Aug with the multidisiplinary team for bariatric surgery..no idea who I will be seeing on that day!

To be honest I'm really nervous as I don't want to muck it all up by saying the wrong thing to anyone...esp the psychiatrist!
