Hi Karma I too am with Luton, you are very lucky to be having your appts so quickly I had my first on 27th April and my second one is on the 18 th August, and I live in Luton lol
The second appt is with the Bariatric nurse, the dietician and the psychologist nothing to worry about, and you will then be put on the milk diet for 4 weeks, depending on when your next appt is and if you have lost the 5% which I am sure you will have.
Good luck and if I can help or you want to e mail me privately please do would be nice to be in touch with people having their surgery locally and soon.
I go to the l.o.s.s. group which is the luton surgical support group for pre and post oppers, but would be good to have someone who is likely to be close surgically

Hi Karma welcome to minis great group. I too am with Luton and also live in Luton.
I had my first appt 27 th April and my second is on 18th August so you did well to get your so close together. The second appt entails seeing the BAriatric nurse, the dietician and the psychologist, and then you will be put on the milk diet for four weeks or less depending on next appt, and if you have lost the 5% which I am sure you would have.
Then you are put on a 900 cal diet till you see the surgeon and then back onto milk diet for two weeks pre op.
would be good to have contact with you as we would have surgery around the same sort of times and would be good to be able to support at a local level especially if you do not live too far away.
