Why would you not need a nighty Joffy. I am taking two pairs of pj's.

I only had PJs (hate nighties!). Spent my first night (Monday) in PJs then changed into gown for op, then was in that until Thursday morning. In my infinate wisdom I forgot a pillow but used a towel that I'd taken instead and it was invaluable!

The pillow was a life saver for me as it was a long journey home. I also took a mouth spray to freshen up x

sanitary towels. The shock of surgery can often make you get your period early.

Another good idea as this happened to me even though Ive had no period for months, the shock bought it on x

Me too! Nhs towels were like a rolled up duvet! ;-)
