How do people eat prunes when they contain so much sugar?

thanks micder you explained that really well... so glad i read this thread xx

I've never noticed prunes being high in sugar. I get them in own juices, not syrup not dried or candied. They seem fine to me. And I only add two to my morning shake for that extra kick in the bum department.

Holland and Barretts are good pop some in a small container for a nibble, mashed instead of butter in cakes, chopped on cereal!

Prunes as in a fruit are high in sugars but importantly they are fruit sugars so whilst bad to excess are great in moderation. On average 13prunes or there abouts are 100g about 140calories I nibble those over an evening which answers the head hunger if it strikes without processed sugars etc so is good for the digestion ok for my tummy & not to much of a naughty food to make me dump. I find it a good natural
Laxative without stress to my pouch, solves a old habit healthily while I deal slowly with the old head hunger.
Worth a try sensitive dumpers may not have as positive result but for me it works & I need to practice it often enough to work through old demons & avoid the scales going up rather than down.
