How long did you have to wait for Op?

hi i went to my dr in may 08 i got funding in august 08 then first saw my consultant dec 08 and my op is next week! everywhere is different

i have heard a lot about nhs places having to stick to the nhs guidelines of treatment occuring within 18 weeks of first consulatation (i think?) but some places are taking it to 26 weeks hope your not waiting too long x
