How long did you stay in hospital for?

Just wondering how many days I can expect to be in? x

I went in on Saturday evening for my op on Sunday, and was in until tea time on the wednesday.

I thought about 3 days from op. Is that about the norm? x

I'm going to Little Aston next week, and have been told in no uncertain terms that I will only be in for two nights.

I didnt realise Miss heitmann was doing ops at Little Aston. x

I had mine at Birmingham. Keyhole though and only stayed in one night. I was so relieved to be home x

I was under Miss heitmann at first then got changed to Khan too. x

Yep two nights for me also, as long as you're walking around sipping water and barring any infections they'll send you home after two nights.

I had mine done keyhole and I was in 3 nights and boy was I glad to get home!

I had it done laparoscopically and I went in the night before and stayed for 4 nights in total.

I had my bypass done at Spire Manchester with Mr Ammori - went in on Saturday, had op done on Saturday at 4pm and then was out of hospital at 3pm Sunday. Not bad at all.

Hi I am due to have mine at the end of the month and was told to go in on the Monday(day of op) and I will come home on the Wednesday or Thursday.

I had my bypass open on Thursday and went home on Friday at Walsall Manor.... Nurses weren't keen on me going home and lectured me about the 'what if's' but the doc said i could go so i hobbled out as quick as i could lol xx

Wow that was quick. Can I ask how painful it was afterwards at home? 0-10 (10 been labour pains!) lol x

I went to The Spire Manchester @ 7.00am had my op @ 12.00noon same day and came home @ 11.00am next day (Sat)

wow some of you Guys got out quick i am am going in a 7.30 on the 20th july and have told told 3 days now not sure if tha means i will come home Thursday or Friday
