Oh i was more than ready to give up and think F*** it but hey ho why the hell should i let fate win yet again!!
Figured that on the flip side, this way i have to keep on target incase of a sudden appointment, where as before i was sort of waiting till the last minute to really get my ass in gear! xx

It`s awful the way these people have the right to kick you and others like you in the teeth regardless the amount of time you have waited. I doubt I could cope as well as you; but chin up girl we are all rooting for you here. I really like your positive attitude. All the Best.

I know how you feel as it happened to me. I just kept calling every day, sometimes twice (I had this theory that Fridays I should call am and pm- don't ask) and I got lucky and moved my appointment. Good luck and don't loose faith!

Hi laurajuicy.

I am soo sorry!! I myself called the other day to see when my 3rd appointment would be and luckily an appointment had been made for 17th november, even tho i ain't got the letter yet. Obviously i'm now prepared for any appointments to be delayed.

If all you can do is phone up everyday then do it!!! hey phone up 5 times a day if u have to maybe they'll get sick of you lol

I really do hope you get a earlier date tho...they said it would be 26 weeks max from the 2nd appointment i had (which was 3rd aug) to when i get op, worked out hopefully by april. Best not to get too excited about that either now

when you say third appointment do you mean your endoscopy or the appointment to check you have lost the weight?

asi have just had my third appoitment to check if i have lost the weight and was told it was approx 26 weeks from then - i wish it was 26 weeks from second appointment i'd be due to have it in 3 weeks

Sorry think i was getting carried away with what i was saying, it was late lol!! i meant from the 3rd appointment where your suppose to of lost the weight. i had my second 3rd aug and next 1 is november so 26 weeks then will be about april. HOWEVER the bariatric nurse also said that is maximum and it should be sooner as the other surgeon is doing bypasses and not just banding xx

Laura, I'm so sorry this has happened but just wanted to send you hugs and words of encouragement about keeping going. You can do this sweetheart. You could even be well, well under target weight by your next appointment and really show them!

Thats horrible, just ring and ring they will get that sick of you they will get you sorted,mine was the 20th. I wonder if mines been changed to. i hate all this waiting around . xxxxx
