i have cheated

DON'T, one mistake does not warrant making yourself sick..

Try to forget and move on, it cannot possibly be that bad..get back on board sister.............YOU CAN DO IT :)

Awww ... never mind. 1 mistake won't make you fail in the long run. Your liver will still be shrinking. Chin up, deep breath & carry on, hunnie. No being sick though. Bet you are not the first or the last :)

Hey it wasnt chips, kebab, curry, chocolate or pizza.I was only on low carb for 11 days and my liver shrank!Stay strong!

Don't hate yourself maz you are human.

And a boiled egg sandwich as others have said was not the end of the world, it could have been the contents of your chip shop!

Take a step back and move on, you don't have long to go now love, so start again tomorrow and think of the end product. You have done soooooo well.

Try not to be so hard on yourself. A boiled egg sandwich won't suddenly ruin your liver as there is protein in the egg. I was just on a high protein diet pre op and that worked so please don't beat yourself up.

Also please don't make yourself sick if you slip up again, you could end up doing harm to yourself and that could jeopardise your surgery much more than going off diet ever could!

The first thing I said when I came round from surgery was "Liver?" and they laughed and said it was fine. I'd slipped up a couple of times (I was on my diet over Christmas) and was seriously frightened I'd not done enough. In the end it all worked out ok.

I know it is hard but just try to relax and really think about things rationally. One slip up is all it is. Just put it behind you and get back on track and keep focused and you'll be fine.

I cheated over the weekend too :-/ It's so hard on the low fat/low carb diet, cos you're eating actual food just in tiny amounts and, lets face it, if I could control my portion sizes I wouldn't be in this mess to begin with! I haven't even done one week on it yet, and I have four weeks to get through :-(
Luckily it wasn't with anything like cake or chocolate or anything bad, I just had an extra slice of chicken yesterday and a bit of cheese on Friday. Am finding the no alcohol thing pretty hard too as everyone I know drinks pretty much whenever they're out, so I've stopped going out which has made me more miserable *lol*

Oh you naughty girl and for something so odd! No matter as long as your back on track and do not do it again. If they open you up and can not get past your liver, they will close you back up without doing the op. I am sure that this one slip will be fine though. Dont forget, the pre op is to shrink liver, not to lose weight. x

omg i have caved in after 2 weeks on pre op diet i cud scream why did i do it arghhhhhhhhhhhhh the worst thing about it was it didnt even taste good  i must bring it bk up or i will never sleep with anger all that hard work arghhhhhhhhhhhhh

Hope you are feeling mych more positive today x

you're very welcome, so glad you'ree feeling better :hug99:

thanks all . trust me i will not do it again. i hate myself for been so weak . xx

Now listen here, I will say this only once. You are not weak, if you were why did u start the diet a week early? All it means is your human, nothing more and nothing less.

You have admitted on here what you have done, and I don't agree with you being sick, but what is done is done. Now stop beating yourself up.

The light is at the end of the tunnel, so walk forward and keep going.

You are/have done fab so far.

Proud of ya, and everyone else on this forum. x

Keep going..... one mistake is not going to spoil anything.
Guilt is not something you want to carry around.....so let it go.
Good Luck for the op
