Welldone on your pre op loss, wish you a speedy recovery and cant wait to see you lose loads more.

I went down at 6pm and they put me out....the quickly popped my band in then they got a horse from the grand national in to trample me for half hour....well that's truely what it feels like...slept in bursts of an hour all night and now feel very sore, very tired but very awake. Other than that I'm doing good thanks to all your support and a fantastic surgeon and team. Talk later guys xxx

Hope you don't mind a word from a stranger but at least I'm awake at this ungodly hour on a Sunday (only coz I'm at work!;))

Sorry you're feeling 'trampled' but I'm sure it won't last long and I'm doubly sure it'll be well worth it to you in the end!

You'll soon be feeling on top of the world. I look forward to seeing how you get on.

Take care and well done you!! x

lol gaynor this has had me chuckling as 20 years after having my son i can remember the pain very well and would never go through that again for anyone. where as with the bypass i would do it all again i remember the elephant sitting on my chest when i came round in recovery but that was soon sorted with anti nausea and morphine and although i had a morphine pump i didnt use it once in 24 hrs. had some paracetamol because i was uncomfortable with being in bed all day but not in pain. still sat here with my knees clamped together at the thought of childbirth though.lol
looking forward to hearing about wandas experiance.
