Im at the hospital :-)

Carole you poor thing. Was it really that bad lol???? I did it 3 times but never again as the older they get the bigger pains in the ar** they get lol.I keep thinking to myself "maybe the initial pain will be like child birth and then disappear, yes i can cope with that (not)" but thought I'd ask Wanda straight after so I get the truth (crafty B***h that I am) lol. Take care Carole xx Gaynor xx

Glad it went well Wanda, take care and get plenty of rest!

The worst bit is over now :D

Congrats and good luck for the op. xx

Well I'm home in my own bed snoozing on and off. As for a truthful reply on how much it hurts? When I came round last night it was as bad as childbirth and like hubby said well babe basically you have multiple stab wounds. During the night it was very very hard to get comfortable especially as I normally sleep on my side and had to sit up in the bed. The thing I wasn't expecting was how painful the bottom of my chest is and how much it hurts to breath deeplyand also (sorry if this is tmi) how it hurts to pee! This is cos you normally use your tummy muscles to help you go and they are bloody sore!!! The drive home was painfull as you feel every bump and pothole but hugging a pillow against me inside the seatbelt did help quite a bit. I'm now home trying to snooze in bed but getting comfy is a trial but even with all of this I'm on the loosing side and that alone feels bloody fantastic :)

hi wanda, to help me sleep, i bought lots of pillows so i could lay in an elevated position, which was a similar position to the hospital bed, i found that worked for me.

Hi Wanda, so glad that op is done. Hopefully you will start to feel better soon. Have you had terrible pains in your shoulDER? It does feel like you've had multiple stab wounds and then been runover, But it will definitely be worth it!

Its lovely to hear from you - I was wondering all day how you were doing. At least the worst bit is over now and every day will get better. I am really proud of you. Well done!

Glad to hear all went well and your now safely back at home. x
