It would have been more useful if she had brought over a nice shepherds pie for the boys rather than cake!!!

If it happens again, you could always stick them in the freezer and bring them out when appropriate.

oh dont you just love mother in laws ha, she should be supporting you and your family and if thats what she thinks she is doing well she is not.
