im nervous...

hiya everyone,ive got a family wedding in 3 weeks and i havent seen any of them since last year as i live down south they live up north,they all know ive had wls but im sooo nervous,what if they exspect some stick insect to get off the train,although im 4 stone lighter since they saw me last im still scared incase they dont even notice at all x

You are gorgeous, your pictures show a massive change so walk tall and proud and know that you are beautiful.

While lots of people do this for family etc(me included I want to be a better, fitter mum and wife) ultimately it's what we think of ourselves that really matters.

You are lovely, enjoy the wedding and actually everyone will look at the bride so while others will be jealous, curious, kind, *****y?! ........ They can think what they think it's really what you think about yourself that matters

thanks for the replies,i guess when youve always been insecure about the way you look part of that will always remain,im the kind of person who worries about what others think of me rather than what i think of myself...this is will be the first time in my life im wearing a dress ekkkkk! its a maxi dress but still a dress lol xx

Tracey you look fab! I don't know you and I see a massive difference in your before and after so how can they possibly not? They are your friends and family I am sure they will just be thrilled for you that your journey is well and truly on its way!
You only had your op in May its not even been three months, how can they expect a stick insect lol
You look fantastic and I am sure in 3 weeks time you will have had even more weight loss.
I am sure they understand it is a marathon and not a sprint! Just show up looking and FEELING fab! Radiate happiness and confidence and they surely cannot help but see that in you too!

You are soooo right! I'm going to go to that wedding with my head held high,I know I have lost weight it just takes ur head time to catch up,I still see myself as huge as I was even thought I'm not! Xx

Just wanted to added I'm pretty sure they will notice! I felt exactly the same going back to work, they kept ringing and asking how much I lost and were so excited by the amount that I was sure they weren't realising that I was still so far from goal weight but within minutes of arriving everyone I saw noticed a difference. Some where very vocal about it and others didn't say anything until the subject was brought up - I think they thought I would think it was rude to mention it. So you will probably find a mixture like that but they will all notice. So go and have a great time knowing you are looking great. They won't just notice how much you've lost but how vibrant you look from your added confidence x
