Thank you for the reply! I had a DS and while I appreciate you had a pre existing medical condition I was a little confused how that much weight gain was possible. My pouch has stretched, I had stage 1 done four years ago and it's stretched quite a bit. However even with that happening I've been stable for two years now. It's good to hear other people issues as it makes you realise it could change!!

I wish you all the luck in the world to get back to a happy, fulfilled life, including a stable healthy weight :) I have always been aware of the possibility of regain but it is, as you say, not the norm so I will have to keep myself in check as I do not dump. :wave_cry: Good luck, Mikey & keep posting as the forum is full of supportive, knowledgeable people who will be here for you ... :):) xx

I want to thank everybody for all the wonderful words of support, and the questions etc. that's exactly what I wanted. An active social group with similar needs and drive. I feel better everyday physically and mentally. I'm glad to be back in the game!

wow so glad for you open honesty, i have not had my surgery yet i too am hopeing for a bypass, but i have got to wait until i have a vinous cava filter inserted through my groin to my heart to stop blood clots from getting to my lungs or heart as i have sufferd from dvt in my legs for a while. i to can empethise with living hand to mouth being homeless and all the things that come with that as i to have been in that situation. also wellcome to this forum you will find truethfull openness honesty and support from the people on here. i look forward to watching how you get on and whish you every sucsess.:D:D
 
Wow wot a story! You have taken the first step now and ur seem like ur i'n the right frame of mind now to tackle this weight demon. I wish u lots of luck. This site is fantastic and I have really been supported by everyone on here and I know everyone will support u to. I have heard a few people have had there wls fail so ur not alone xxx
