I too had Basil Ammori at Spire Manchester and my recovery and progress has been great. Similar situation in Scotland as there is in Ireland as far as funding and lack of bypass surgeons. Just wanted to say welcome to minis you will get lots of support on here x

Hi again everyone and many thanks for all the encouragement.

Ulidia, Maz, is the ancient name for the counties of Antrim & Down in what is now Northern Ireland. It was an ancient celtic Kingdom. I live in County Down and was born in County Antrim so a fitting name I think.

I am now four weeks post op and looking forward to my first weigh-in on 1 November. I'll keep you all posted.
