how about promise vouchers HC? say like I promise to do 1 hour of ironing for you, spring clean your bathroom, take you to the pictures for a girly night, etc
 
Ah thats the best bit watching them make a mess then sorting it when they have gone to bed...I remember it well although it was a long time ago...I also remember doing it when I was a kid with my two sisters I loved coming home from school one day and smelling the pine when I walked in...you cant beat a real tree...oh the memories...xx
 
mines artificial but still looks nice tho, we put 300 lights on it and approx 100 baubles, takes ages to do so im putting it off another few days if possible lol

mines artificial as real ones set my asthma off :~( have to wait to children are in bed to sort of re arrange it cause i'm a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to baubles the lights and the tinsel have to be done first by me as they have to go on a certain way, Im normally still moving baubles around right up until we take it down lol sad I know

yay!! put the tree & deccies up last nite while my little boy was in bed. His face when he got up this morning makes xmas all worth while for me, even if i can`t have the goodies that go with it lol

He`s only 2 1/2 so its the first xmas he really inderstands whats going on & i`m really looking forward to it :)

ahh thats nice claire, my son is 8 now and still believes in santa, i think it will be the last year he does as the older kids are in the street where we live are trying to spoil it for him saying theres no santa its just your mum & dad ! i convinced him other wise this year and left a christmas card under his pillow from santa with a pound coin inside, so i have to enjoy this 1 last year where he still believes and the magic for him is still there.

sounds silly but i wanted to have my band just before x-mas because my thinking was if i can get through this, when i struggle in april/may/june??? i can think "well i got through x-mas this is easy!!"

Yes I am a saddo, I have spent all day today wrapping pressies, what with 3 kids thats alot of presents to wrap.
I love xmas, here's hoping the last fat christmas ever x
