Dashed home in a state of pure agony and dare not eat again because i cant go though that hell ever again! Lol has any other sleevers had issues with dumping?

I get dumping and have had since I had my gall bladder removed in 2012. Cream is the devil for me, I can't go near it not even the smallest bit. Also different strength coffees affect me so i have to be careful and bread.

I'm bypassed and never dumped yet fingers crossed but everyone is different so not all do but then others do loads

It was horrific ... safe to say i wont be drinking hot chocolate again :/ x

I don't really dump per-say, but if I eat too fast or don't chew enough I get really hot and feel sick. So kinda dumping.

I'm lucky that no food reacts badly to my sleeve. But i am careful with bread but only as it sits heavy on me and I find it a waste of food/intake of that makes sense. xx

I get the odd days where food just don't sit right but never dumped yet its just a weird feeling I get that says you don't want that specific food item

Sane as mine feeling. I think dumping is worse (some say it's like dying) I just get a weird sicky feeling if it's gone too quick or not chewed enough xx

Hey hun! I know that weird nauseas feeling. Isn't it lovely...?

As for dumping - do you get that? I thought it didn't happen with a sleeve, as you still have a pyloric sphincter? I get it - it's not fun, although I'm pretty sure it's not like dying! (I'm guessing, having never actually died before....)

Anyway, hope you're doing okay...xx

Hi I've never died lol but when I dumped for the first time I have known anything like it and it was so bad I thought my whole body was shutting down. I was in so much pain, my head felt like the worst migraine ever and I've had a few in my time, (one when I had to be admitted to hospital) the runs pains in every part of my body the shaking sickness, I just wanted to end it all. It was the worst feeling ever. Since I've had reactions to food stuffs, feeling hot and uncomfortable, a bit nauseous a bit of the runs but nothing major. It's been the best lesson for me to make me be very careful about what I put inside of me. Hopefully I will never have it ad bad as that first time but if it did happen I know I would make it to live another day.:)

I didn't think sleevers get dumping and I don't think I do. Just the sick feeling and hotness if I eat too fast or don't chew properly.

I'm okay! Seen your thread skinny! You are doing amazingly well!!! :D xx

That was a very bad case of dumping, it only happened the once like that, now I just get the hot sickie feeling from eating to quickly or trying new foods and drinks.

I don't get dumping because I'm a sleever I get it because of having my gall bladder removed, had it for the last few years but it has deffo got better since having the sleeve thankfully :)

when you have a gallbladder removed you can get a thing called Salts diarrhoea which is chronic runs without warning, I suffered with it for years without knowing what it was because its over 30 years since I had mine removed, the only thing I didn't get was the sickness. But I thing now lack of food had helped to dry thing up so to speak, but it's nothing like the dumping.

See mine was different I would get chronic pain and I would sit on the toilet and shake like mad, get sweats etc wasn't just unexpected runs. It was horrendous xx
