Is that because you feel well or ? :)

Because I cant believe they have sliced and diced my insides and I have had no pain, I was talking to Louisa Mr Ammori's sec today saying I reckon he just puts tiny cuts on the outside and sticks plasters on hoping it works like a placebo lol....I have to say feeling really good today have already had comments on how well I look and after the sickness its nice to be normal. It will be interesting to see the various stages of someone that had the op so long ago so I am waiting with bated breath...xx

Hi Curly
welcome to the forum :D
I am going to echo everyone else here, but i would love to hear read your story. How did you find things after the op? Did you find the diet after the op easy to follow? What happened when you got to your goal weight? Does your diet have to change when you get to your goal weight? How do you maintain it??
I am having my gastric bypass in a couple of weeks, i am looking forward to it- but i am so scared of failing!

Hey Curly you have gone quiet!!!:cry:
We would all love to know about ALL your experiences, like what was it like straight away after operation and what did you think of the diets, liquid, pureed etc. and how have the years gone and what happened with your weight loss? Did you reach your goal and stay there - have you maintained your weight, if so how. Are you tempted back into 'old habbits'? Sorry --- so many questions but in weeks time I'll have had my bypass so I'm really interested to hear all the deatails. There aren't many 'posters' regarding the long term!!

Have to agree with Charliegirl only yesterday I was chatting to my hairdresser, who had her bypass two years ago and I said that I felt so well since the operation and can eat anything perhaps I never had the operation and the dr only put 6 scratches on my tummy. Got home had a quarter of ham sanwich-never chewed properly and promptly threw up-so got rid of that theory.
